Carleton University Entrance Scholarships For International Students
Welcome to our website. In today topic, we will be talking about Carleton University Entrance Scholarships For International Students and give you all the important details. Stay with us.
Entrance Scholarships for American and International High School Students
You will automatically be considered for a renewable entrance scholarship if you met the language criteria and received an admission average of at least 80% at Carleton. We compute the admission average based on the grades your high school provided as part of your application. Scholarships for entrance are only available for fall entry. If you are entering Carleton for the first time and have never attended a post-secondary institution before, you might be given a renewable admission scholarship. Your admissions average as calculated at the time of admission will determine the scholarship value if you are qualified when you are admitted to Carleton. Offers of entry scholarships are not evaluated or reevaluated based on final high school grades.
Prestige Scholarships
The Prestige Scholarships are their best prizes. You must receive an entrance average of 90 percent or above to be eligible for any prestige scholarships. The selection committee will also evaluate the variety of extracurricular activities you participate in in your community or secondary school. Only if you are entering Carleton straight out of high school or a CEGEP will you be given consideration for a prestige scholarship. These grants are not available to students who have previously attended a post-secondary institution (college or university).
Scholarships for Current Students
Scholarships managed by Carleton University will first be credited to your tuition costs, provided it is not against the terms of the grant. If you have registered and remain registered for the whole academic year (minimum four credits in the Autumn/Winter session), a scholarship will be issued immediately to your fees in two installments, half in mid-August for the fall term and half in mid-December for the winter term.
Scholarship Assessment
Once we have received your marks at the conclusion of the Fall/Winter session, the Awards Office will automatically assess for the renewal of admission scholarships and assess for general in-course scholarships. The results of this evaluation are typically announced on Carleton Central at the end of May or the beginning of June. It’s critical that you are aware of the guidelines for applying for scholarships.
Co-operative Education or Industrial Experience
Due to the terms of the employment, the administration of your scholarship will operate differently if you are enrolled in the industrial experience program or the co-operative education stream. You won’t be allowed to use your scholarship money while you’re working. When you resume full-time education, you will be subject to the terms of the scholarship. If you plan to participate in a co-op work term at any point during the academic year, please get in touch with the Awards Office so that the required preparations can be made to defer your scholarship to the time when you resume full-time studies and are once more eligible for it.
Departmental Scholarships & Awards
Your academic achievements may also be acknowledged by departmental scholarships and awards, in addition to renewable admission scholarships or general in-course scholarships. Departments submit or suggest deserving students for departmental honors and scholarships at the conclusion of each academic year. Please visit your department or our large awards database for more details.
